Out and about for the day, having fun, seeing the sights, puttering around with The Peanut.

Thought you could use a little fresh chatty space.

Let’s just say that hot dog vendors abound and that is a source of great fascination for small girlies who are on their first trip to The City. As is the subway.

It’s a whole new world out here. And we’re trying to soak a bit of it in — hope your day is going as well as ours.

I finally got my garden planted today. Late in the season, but we had frost all the way up to Memorial Day Weekend here. Better late then never, right?

I remember the first time my niece rode the subway. She didn’t understand how a train could be underground, and was bit scared. So we’re walking around Philly and out the blues she announced she was ready to take it on.

Once she got downstairs and saw the platform it all clicked and she thought it was the coolest thing around. She just wanted to ride it all day.
