Morning — thanks. Slept in this morning and am just now getting to my coffee. Have been having a major lupus flare so I’ve been trying to take it easy this weekend until I can get to the doc next week.

Hope everyone has a wonderful mother’s day.

Oh, and the new Star Trek movie? It will rock your world. But I’m not posting anything beyond that because it would be all spoilers.

I slept in also. That photo reminds me of one of my favorite shots of my daughter and me when she was a newborn. I was sitting in my bentwood rocker, nursing her.

I hope I did not ruin anyone’s viewing with my review yesterday. Glad you liked it – we were bouncing in our seats like a bunch of five year olds, frankly. I am also sorry about your flare up. Rest easy, Mommy.
Der kinders Chez Siberia gave me, and not in any order of ‘wonderfulness’: an eyepoppingly huge pot of pansies for the front stoop, a lovely collection of potions, implements etc. to do pedicures and foot massages, and a beeee-ootiful brooch depicting a branch of cherry blossoms that The Boy found at the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden last weekend. It’s nice to see he has his father’s taste in jewelry – he will make someone very happy someday. He is not the type to give a vacuum cleaner as a gift. Here’s hoping all the other mommies out there have a nice, restful loving day with their families. Smooches and hugs to all.

And, Christy, I hope you feel better soon. Real soon.
