Happy Easter everybody! I have a tooth in desperate need of a root canal so I will be passing on all sugar until that happens. Having the family over today, a beautiful day here in central IN, so should be fun. Honey ham, GB casserole, potatoes. And a stop at a friend’s house who has prepared a traditional Ukranian Easter meal. Should be fun.

Happy Easter to all. Went to a nursery yesterday and bought all kinds of interesting plants for the garden … lots of natives and several varieties of Salvia. And a new hedge trimmer. Maybe I’ll stop with the hedge trimmer before I get to the root balls, maybe not. I never liked hedges anyway, and Mrs. Cat isn’t here to stop me. Unfortunately the thunderstorms we had last night and this morning have sort of, well, put a damper on the horticultural festivities. Maybe it will clear off this afternoon.

Just gotta tell someone my Easter pun.

Happy Easter: I do worship with folks in a hospital. I love it, and esp. the kids. What caught my eye–mentioned earlier–is the new first dog. A gift from Sen. Ted Kennedy….I love that. How special can a dog be?
