Friday Muppet Blogging

And now, for your patriotic fervor pleasure…um…no, that sounded dirty.

Ahem. Ahem.

For all the patriots out there and also assorted unpatriotic rifraff who might be reading…but not said in an unkind way because you, too, can become a patriot. Yes, yes you can. Just listen to the Stars and Stripes Forever.

Let Sam The American Eagle’s words sink in…way, way in, down deep to your core.

Oh hell. Just watch the YouTube.

The Peanut says to take special note of the chickens. They crack her up.

Plus a bonus link to Kermit singing the original version of "It’s Not That Easy Bein’ Green."  The Peanut said it was "too mushy" to be the featured clip, but I love it so I’m linking it up anyway.

I love this one. The Peanut thought the chickens were so laugh out loud funny that we had to watch this three times. *g*

btw, we have all of Season One of the Muppet Show and watch it with The Peanut a lot. She loves it. Something tells me we’re going to end up getting Season 2 sometime soon if the budget allows for it. *g* Looking at the guest line-up, it’ really inevitable…

I apologize in advance, but the chicken on the right (as viewing the pic) looks like Dick Cheney. Something about the eyes.

I like the bbq guy chasing the chicken around, but he settled down. Muppets were great!

Hahahaha! good pick. love the chickens and I’m a big fan of Bobo the Bear esp. when he had a crush on Cindy Crawford.

The hot dogs with mustards are esp. patriotic!!

I cannot wait to share this video tonight with my 5 year old ”peanut”. She loves to sit on my lap as I read FDL and share comments about issues. She’s the youngest with two older brothers and has Dad wrapped around her fingers.*g*
